Dichroic and fused glass are my favorite mediums for designing and creating centerpieces for necklaces, bracelets and earrings. I have studied with three glass instructors at William Holland School of Lapidary Arts in Young Harris, GA , as well as at the St. Lucie County Rock and Gem Club in St. Lucie, Florida. Two kilns at home make my glass work more efficient. My small kiln allows me to manipulate the molten glass, stamp it and add elements to it.

For your convenience, my jewelry is organized by categories: Dichroic, Pearls, Kazuri and Other. To see enlargements of each piece, tap the photo for more information.

I love using Kazuri beads in my jewelry. Kazuri means small and beautiful, an African term for the glass beads made by unwed mothers in Kenya. An English woman realized these women and their children were destitute. She taught them to make beads and to market them. I first learned their story from a Peace Corp worker who brought them home to the US. I visited their workshop in Nairobi.
